Research Interest Statement
I am (1) currently writing a demand book (Prentice-Hall) with Matt Holt and Jeffrey LaFrance, (2) investigating unemployment and welfare reform in rural California with Philip Martin and Edward Taylor, (3) comparing the performance of flexible demand system functional forms using monthly meat data, and (4) estimating the effects of advertising and promotion using a time series approach with Art Havenner.
